Urban Places as Narrative Spaces
This project will explore how narrative and graphic inscriptions in the urban environment shape public perception, memory and decision-making within the urban heritage environment of the Gauteng City-Region. Running from July 2025 to 30 June 2027, with the option to extend to June 2028, it will document, analyse and co-design storytelling-led interpretation as an extension of the knowledge exchange between the Gauteng City-Region Observatory and the TOWN Observatory at Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
