State of Green Infrastructure report launched

On July 29th, the GCRO launched the State of Green Infrastructure in the Gauteng City-Region report. The launch took place at the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture (FADA) gallery at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) drawing over 130 attendees from government, the private sector and various people from academia. The report is an multi-dimensional output, including visual interpretation, technical and spatial analyses, institutional assessment of government plans and visions, ecosystem valuation and research into the role of communities and the private sector in sustaining green infrastructure.
