Key benchmark Indicators

The Gauteng City Region (GCR)’s “global competitiveness” needs to be evaluated in terms of its own characteristics, but also that of other similar city regions. The aim of the project is to develop key indicators with which to measure the performance, development progress and “competitiveness” of the GCR, and benchmark it against city regions elsewhere in the world, while exploring options for indicators that allow worthwhile international benchmarking and tell our own story.
